WARMING CENTER / PLACE OF REFUGE UPDATES

WARMING CENTER

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YATES COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE UPDATES AS THEY COME IN:

Warming Centers Open in Yates County

If you are without power, and need a place to warm up, you can go to one of the following locations listed below:

Dundee Area:

Dundee Library, 32 Water Street: open until 6 PM this evening

Dundee Central School, 55 Water Street: The Public Meeting Room at the school will be opening at 11 AM

Town of Jerusalem:

Modeste Bedient Library, 3699 Rt 54A Branchport: Open until 8 PM

Penn Yan Area:

Penn Yan Library, 214 Main Street: Open until 7:30 PM

Yates County Office of Emergency Services is carefully monitoring the situation, please be careful traveling and around down trees and utility lines.

VILLAGE OF DUNDEE, DUNDEE CENTRAL SCHOOL AND YATES COUNTY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES IS ESTABLISHING A WARMING CENTER / AREA OF REFUGE FOR PERSONS WITHOUT POWER STARTING AT 11:00 AM.
