This is a great program that embeds Deputies trained as EMTs into our community to help provide emergency medical care until an ambulance can arrive. The program has already helped to save the lives of Steuben County friends, family, and neighbors.

“Each day, public safety puts their lives on the line in dedication to their communities,” said Axon CEO and founder Rick Smith. “Axon’s RISE Awards help share and honor those stories of extraordinary courage, heroism and valor. We hope these awards inspire others as much as they inspire us.”
